Christmas

As I ring up sales for customer after customer at the bookstore, I refuse to safely say, "Happy holidays." (though holiday actually means "holy day") No ma'am, I am more specific. I boldly chime, "Merry Christmas!" and smile a bit wider when customers say the same.

It is sad that in this day and age Christmas cheer is a courageous move in our politically-correct society.
