As much as I adore Austin, and miss family and friends in other cities and states, lately I've felt grateful to live in Houston. Sure, for most of the year the climate simulates a sauna, but there is so much life and breath in this city.
Today I discovered the Poetry Bus which will roll into Houston this Wednesday and Thursday! You bet your buttons I will be seated at the Thursday noon reading at the Menil. Free poetry and art is the type of event that makes my soul content to live in Houston.
