Happy Earth Day

Your Life is 76% Green

You live a very green life, and you're aware of how your actions help the earth.
Of course, it's hard to be totally green. But when you make a tradeoff, you know why you're making it.

I did not attend any Earth Day rallies, but I did go to Church to worship the Lord - the Maker of Heaven and earth. I purchased a a small bamboo cutting board for veggies; we already have a larger one for meat. Johnny and I discussed global warming along the lines of Tara Leigh Cobble's blog entry.* We conversed over our favorite Indian buffet which is perfect food if you have a TMJ flare-up. I basically ate like a vegetarian because meat is rather hard to chew at the moment, but I savored soft dishes such as yellow lentils, spicy eggplant, saag paneer (spinach and cheese), a sweet mango lassi, and rice pudding.

Now while resting I will flip through and re-read parts of Crunchy Cons. I'll continue to thank God for the vast, wide earth, and our responsibility to care for His creation.

*I'm sorry, but I have little interest to see An Inconvenient Truth. I do not hate him, but I'm not really a fan of Al Gore. Maybe I will watch the flick one day anyway.

*Maybe I will eat glass while you watch AIT. I'll have more fun.

I am not going to eat glass, but it will be "a cold day in hell" when I watch AIT voluntarily.
