Did I mention I'm a proud, new, full-time employee of Half Price Books? Moi, an avid book-lover will work around books? Yes! I had a bit o' training yesterday. I think I'm gonna like it there.

Praise God Almighty, I found bubble tea in my part of town! My beloved Teahouse (teahousebeverage.com) has a location less than 5 miles from our apartment in Hong Kong City Mall's food court. I felt like I was walking around in literal China. As a "happy new job" reward I ordered my old standard of green tea with tapioca and cream. We don't need a Starbucks on every corner, we need a Teahouse on every corner!

I stole this idea from the always-funny blog, sarahhatter.com:

1. Find the nearest book.
2. Open to page 23.
3. Find the 5th sentence.
4. Post it.

"And I noticed that on my left hand my manicure was ruined."

Quote from "Making a Literary Life: Advice for Writers and Other Dreamers" by Carolyn See. I keep that book and the "Writer's Market 2004" book on our coffee table as a reminder to keep writing.
