I mentioned Johnny's Dad was an Air Force veteran and thus received a free burial at Houston National Cemetery. Johnny made excellent choices for his Dad's headstone: he selected a Cross and as he perused various possible inscriptions, Johnny deemed it Providence to find the perfect statement describing the grand finale of his Dad's life. Here is how Mr. Simmons' headstone reads:
