God, I hate this book

Jamey Bennett is my hero for today. I believe it's OK to say another man is my hero because he is one of Johnny's heroes, too. Right? Johnny hipped me to Jamey's review of the horrid book The Red Tent by Anita Diamant which makes me giddy. I've read many books in my 31 years of life and I am not very sheltered in my reading choices. But I loathed this book so much I did not even finish it. It is one of maybe five books that I've abandoned unfinished. My loathing of this book is right up there with maraschino cherries.
