The
Body Worlds 3 exhibit is in Houston 'til September. My brother & I are excited and plan to view the cadavers; Johnny is less enthusiastic. I can share my personal thoughts soon, but I'm curious what you bloggers and readers think about the exhibit - ethically? Artistically? Biblically? Otherwise? I don't have a hidden agenda, I am sincerely curious. Please leave a comment and let me know.

ok, when I saw the billboards for the exhibit, I didn't really get what it was until my friend Sarah was like, "see how that guy is holding his skin with such a powerful pose?"
I was instantly disgusted and everytime I saw the billboard I was a little less queezy, but I really don't think I could handle the exhibit.
Jenny, you'll have to let me know how it is
I thought this editorial on the exhibit was rather interesting:

let me know what you think, jenni...

I agree with the editorial linked to above, especially the ending sentence:
"This is art in the culture of death."
I had not heard of this before your link and maybe I'm rushing to judgement on something I've only just read a few short things about, but my first impression is that it is morbid and repulsive.
