I now understand why my Mom loves plants in her home. I do believe I will keep flowers and plants around our home more often. I ought to carry on Papaw's tradition of tending to God's creation of flowers. "And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." (Matthew 6:28-29):

And, a gilded Nativity icon given to Johnny by my parents, purchased at The Blue Hand:

A Notre Dame rose window replica. I call this picture "The Resurrection":

Our furry baby hiding under one of his favorite toys - brown packing paper courtesy of Kiehl's (when I must wear an antiperspirant for social reasons, I choose their Superbly Efficient Antiperspirant and Deodorant):

That is the extent of my photo essay. Now I'm enjoying a glass of Frey organic Cabernet, with no sulfites I might add. Nighty night.

Once again, love your posts, J-Kat. I also love that in the one photo that has Johnny in the background, he is doing a funny face again :)
So you really like the Kiehl's deodorant? I can't find ANY natural deodorants that actually work on me. I looked at this one but was concerned because it has aluminum?
Thanks!
I wear Lafe's organic deodorants around the house, to the gym, on errands, etc. so I won't stink in the Houston heat. But I do wear Kiehl's when I definitely want to prevent sweat circles and look nicer - for Church, a party, and so on. It does have aluminum, but I think all antiperspirants contain some aluminum if I'm not mistaken. What I do like is its cream texture, no scent, and a little is all you need. I know aluminum is not great, but I can't live in fear, and I live in Houston! Plus, I wear Lafe's 90% of the time which is pretty good.
Have you tried the crystal deodorant rocks? My Mom loves those. Also, you might have to apply natural deodorants more than once a day - like twice.
What funny face?!?
Buy some salad, and I will eat it.
No, he did that on purpose. I know you are shocked!
