My Kefir is not complete yet, so I made a simple banana milkshake for a mid-afternoon snack. I love simplicity:
1 1/4 cups raw cow's or goat's milk
1 banana, the riper the better
2 teaspoons raw honey
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon extra-virgin coconut oil
Generous dashes of cinnamon
Generous dashes of nutmeg
Mix in a blender and drink up.
