There's a new edition of The Curator available today. Yes, there's also an article written by moi, but once again, I'm more excited to read the other pieces ~ the likes of caramel, Michael Chabon, and Wii (which I know nothing about). I've decided that Daniel Nayeri's articles are bound to make me very, very hungry.
Starting today, you can look for a new edition of The Curator every Friday. Here's the table of contents for edition #2:
Caramel
Daniel Nayeri
Caramel is the saddest thing.
Shutting Up Our Inner Censors
Alisa Harris
Michael Chabon, blogging, writer’s block, and learning to speak the truth.
Wii Are the World
Matt Cox
Can a video game help us regain community?
She Spoke to Silence
Jenni Simmons
Vassar Miller: beauty, humor, and poetry in the physically broken.
Now, please excuse me as I dive into Curator-reading and the laundry while we still have electricity. The only fun within Ike's "cone of uncertainty" is that my brother is gonna spend the night. I hope our power will behave so the three of us can watch There Will Be Blood - you know, a dark story along with dark weather. Seems fitting. Enough with the hurricanes already.
